Fabulous Friday

As I am writing this blog post, Aaron is at school and I am at home! It is a big day, and I am not sure what to do (that is most likely because I have so much to do). But, I have enjoyed the day to catch up with a friend, eat a peaceful lunch, and create a plan to get things back in order.

Yesterday Aaron did very well at PT. He worked very hard and made some big progress with his walking. Today at school, he has walked twice and he has broken his previous walking records. He called me once from school to be sure that I was going to pick him up at 2:30. Did he really think that I would forget??? He said that yes, in fact, he did think that I would forget to pick him up. Perhaps he thought that I was running for the border?

Anyway, I am so pleased that we have met this milestone, and that Aaron is getting stronger every day. If Aaron and Ethan are not too tired this afternoon, we will be going to TREK which is a program that will enable Aaron to play some games in a wheelchair with other kids. He is looking forward to that and the pizza that they serve after.

Hope you all have a restful, peaceful weekend. Thank you for keeping us in your prayers. Please continue to pray that Aaron's leg grows, he continues to progress on his walking, and for anything else that comes to mind.
